COVID-19 Emergency Loans Small Business Guide & Checklist

Dear Chamber Members and Other Friends-of-the-Chamber;

Attached is a guide created by our United States Chamber of Commerce, of which your Chamber is a member, to help small businesses prepare to file for a coronavirus relief loan under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.  We hope this guide will prove to be a valuable resource as you begin to take the necessary steps towards accessing funds to keep workers on the payroll during this trying period.  In addition, we are attaching a guide to Chamber member restaurants who are ready to serve you with social distancing dining options to ensure your safety and welfare.  Do check out these great options!

Our goal is to ensure that the information we share is accurate and informative.  We urge our community members to take protective measures against COVID-19 seriously; by washing hands frequently, staying at home if you are sick, and implementing social distancing measures.  We make every effort to further support our local businesses during this economic slowdown in ways that are safe and appropriate for our community.

Unfortunately, the Chamber has had to suspend/or cancel its activities for the next few months—including the annual International Friendship Festival, Spring Operation Cleansweep, ribbon cuttings, business-after-hours, community breakfast, committee meetings, etc.—until further notice.  Your Chamber office is open for business and also available by phone or email,
As always, we are here to serve you and appreciate your support and Prayers as we work to serve our community, promote business, enhance economic development and serve as a catalyst for improving the overall quality of life in our beautiful Eagle Pass, Maverick County.
